Overview of the Role

As part of our strategy for growth, the company is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our office in Chester.

A key part of our growing IDPP family, the postholder will report to the Delivery Manager, and will support Senior Account Managers and Business Development specialists in a resourcing /delivery function. Focus will be on both contract and permanent vacancies across our core market sectors. 

The role will then progress into a full 360 recruitment consultant position (if desired), offering the opportunity to build a specialist desk and manage your own client accounts. This is an excellent chance to progress a career within recruitment and sales. 


Tasks will focus around:

  • Networking within the market to identify potential candidates for live roles, and for our pipeline business.
  • Candidate attraction through advertising methods and database searches.
  • Assessing and interviewing candidates to determine suitability.
  • Building relationships with candidates, and guiding/managing them through the recruitment process.
  • Updating and maintaining our database to manage hotlists within specialist market sectors.
  • Supporting experienced Recruiters and Account Managers in client mapping, lead generation, and similar business development activities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Ambition; desire to achieve results. 
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels – both by telephone and face to face.
  • Some previous sales experience would be preferred, but not essential.
