Finance Manager | Sports & Fitness Scaleup | Camden | 3 Month Part Time Contract

 

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth Sports & Fitness Scale-up in their search for a Finance Manager to join the team on an initial 3 month contract with the view of going permanent after this.

 

The business are growing month-on-month and the Founders of the business have plans to supercharge growth with a scalable model which they are rolling out across London moving from 1 to 5 sites across the next quarter. Their product which is a mix of Sports, Fitness and Tech has already been a hit with the public and upon launching has gained serious tracking from seasoned investors. As a result the Founders have been through 3 rounds of funding and as a result have a favorable cash position for rapid growth.


Whilst being very ambitious, the company have a real startup feel and this position will work directly with the Founders and have autonomy over the accounting. Currently the function is outsourced to a bookkeeper so part of the task will involve setting up processes, systems and controls for the business.


The Role


·       Producing the monthly management accounts

·       Budgeting and forecasting

·       Acting as a Finance Business Partner to the Senior Management Team

·       Assessing profitability and analysing cash flow

·       Producing financial reports for the directors

·       Managing a small junior finance team

·       Fully responsible for the year end process

·       Overseeing transactional finance including AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and international transactions

·       Implementing and constantly striving to improve finance and accounting systems

 

Requirements:

·       CIMA or ACCA qualified (will look at PQ and finalist)

·       Experience working within a multi-site retail business

·       Commercially astute

·       Excellent communication and organizational skills

·       Part time 2 or 3 days per week

 

Salary: £250 - 325 per day

Location: North London

Start date: ASAP - Interviews this week
