Graduate Software Developers – Finance – Hedge Fund – Java/C++/Python – £40k – £60K
Graduate Developers / software developers are needed to join a highly successful technology focused financial hedge fund based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for graduate software developers with strong programming experience that are looking to work in the finance industry, but does not want to work the typical long hours and high pressure environments that finance has attached to it’s reputation. This is a very unique software development opportunity that most financial institutions will not be able to offer. You will be creating highly innovative and complicated applications for high frequency trading systems that are used to transfer millions of pounds every single day.
As an entry level software developer you will receive a very competitive starting salary with the typical benefits that you would receive in any corporate environment (pension, health care, dental care, travel passes etc). You will need to be a self-starter with (or about to achieve) a degree in Computer Science (or related field) from a leading University. *This role is not designed for highly experienced developers. You must have a strong understanding of software development and you must have a real desire to strive to be the best software developer that you can be (they want to hire the best!). Any experience or knowledge of finance is beneficial but by no means is it necessary; the most important aspect is the desire to work as a software developer.
