The above positions work a Monday to Friday shift pattern, 6:00am to finish.
Holidays are 28days (Inclusive of bank/public holidays), increasing to 31days after passing probation.
Our Merthyr team are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who are keen to learn a new career as a butcher / slaughterman.
Initially you will take part on a 12 week training programme and be reporting to the departmental trainer.
During this period you will be trained on various tasks to get you upskilled to the standard required.
In the 12 weeks , you will be buddied up with skilled butchers on the moving line ,to slowly introduce you to the fast past environment, and to allow you to get to know the team and become confident at the tasks you will carry out.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and learn new skills from de-boning, to cutting and trimming. This will allow you to rotate around a number of different jobs (after training) and become a multi-skilled butcher / slaughterman.
Full support, coaching and training will be provided, including our new apprenticeship scheme that will offer everything you need to develop and grow within KEPAK.
