As the Registered Nurse at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all. Because it drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. We are looking for a passionate and caring individual with a proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team.
Our main aim is to help our residents maintain their dignity and independence in our homely surrounding.

For you, that will mean overseeing a team to deliver an outstanding level of care and, in the Home Manager’s absence, taking responsibility for leading that team and running the home. And, whether you’re helping a colleague to develop their performance, administering prescribed medicines or preparing an incident report, you’ll always have resident wellbeing in mind above anything else.
You’ll be an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN with clinical skills/training) with a current NMC Pin. You’ll also have leadership and recruitment experience in a care home, as well as knowledge of national standards and person-centred care planning. Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. So, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.

Situated in the popular town of Bonnyrigg, near Edinburgh, Springfield Bank is a purpose-built care home with 70 beds offering nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia.
This lovely, spacious home offers a choice of four sitting rooms, two dining areas and plenty of places for quiet reflection. The hairdressing salon and treatment room provide further opportunities for relaxation. The pretty, landscaped garden with its sunny patio is a prime spot for spending time in the company of friends and family. All bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair.
The home’s caring team has created a warm family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat, celebrate and plan special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.
