We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse (E Grade) to join our Stem Cell Transplantation Unit based at our Cancer Centre (London, W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £39,475 - £44,299 per annum. Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients.

Job Type:Permanent & Full Time

Shifts:37.5 hours per week (Days/Nights/Weekends)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To take responsibility for individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, using a Holistic approach for all patients.
  • To adopt a holistic, pro-active and dynamic approach to patients with oncological/haematological care needs.
  • Awareness of the Holistic Needs Assessment programme, and to promote partnership with patients in their care.
  • To ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and to be aware of the legal implications of these documents.

Skills & Experience

  • RGN with valid NMC registration
  • Cancer foundation course/module with Chemotherapy administration experience
  • At least 6 months malignant haematology experience
  • Knowledge of basic chemotherapy protocols for Haematological malignant diseases
