Part-time Flamethrower Promo Wizard (£11p/h in London)
Talk to kids & parents and introduce our amazing new game to them. £11p/h plus bonuses. We're Flamethrowers & Dreamcatchers - we design and run table-top roleplaying games for school aged adventurers that foster pro-social behaviour, strengthen imaginative expressions and teach how to be an awesome humans. Kids create characters and go on adventures together (a bit like D&D), solving puzzles and battling monsters - it's incredible fun. We've been a huge hit in Muswell Hill and are now expanding over London to offer what we do to kids everywhere so we're looking for people to help spread the word!
What are you going to do:
We have a stand with a table where kids walk up and play - they pick a character and you help them 'escape a collapsing cave' 'save the pheonix' etc. They roll the dice and make choices and (usually) get out by the skin of their teeth in ten minute adventure that introduces the game to them.
Meanwhile someone else will engage passers by with hand-out info and invites to free trials or just talk to them about what we do.
The feedback is great - kids are very excited to come and have a play and parents are very welcome to the idea
