We’re looking for a Project Manager - HR Projects who will facilitate and lead on all project activity for a specific project in the People team, ensuring all project deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and to budget. The successful candidate will manage risks and issues against the project robustly, ensuring appropriate mitigation / action plans are implemented with clear ownership and tracking.
You will be responsible for:
Proactively developing and facilitating effective business relationships, internally and externally; enabling effective engagement and support for all project deliverables
Leading in the planning, prioritisation and management of all project deliverables
Leading and demonstrating excellent ways of working to the wider team, promoting positive and professional behaviours at all times
Ensuring accuracy is of the highest standard when completing all project deliverables and providing data to third parties
Implementing an appropriate governance framework across the project to support the set up and ongoing control of workstreams, plans, resource management, communication, budget control and risk / issue management.
Monitoring progress and taking proactive steps to ensure that all deliverables deliver on time, to cost and to the required quality; providing project reporting that drives business understanding around project position, issues, risks and successes.
Flagging any risks / issues which may impact the project, building strong mitigation / action plans for each.
Integrating and leading a range of project and business resources to deliver the overall project; building a sense of common purpose and a clear focus on delivery
Leading the disclosure process and coordinating any additional information requested
Providing the business with robust and insightful data in order to drive effective decision making with regards to the project
Presenting data in a logical manner to enable decision making
So that you are set for success, we are looking for a self-starter, who is an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence at all levels. We are also looking for someone who is/has:
Prince 2 certification or equivalent demonstrable experience as a qualified Project Manager, delivering People/HR related projects
Highly numerate with advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret data with an excellent attention to detail
Ability to work calmly and positively in a changeable, fast paced environment
Highly commercial, collaborative, engaging and credible with a varied pool of stakeholders.
A strong reputation for placing the customer at the heart of all planning
The ability to build and maintain networks that provide internal and external customer insight
A professional background as a Project Manager in a fast paced operational business
A demonstrable track record of building strong influential relationships; establishing yourself as a trusted partner
Solid organisational skills including excellent attention to detail
Successful management of several concurrent projects with experience managing projects where team members may have conflicting priorities and constraints on their time, so requires tenacity from the Project Manager to make sure they are on track.
