About the Role

We’ll look to you to provide an exceptional service to our customers and travel agent partners, maintaining high professional standards and a strong customer focus throughout. Delivering a positive customer journey is what we’re in the business for, and you’ll be at the heart of that. As an International Cruise Representative you’ll work together with colleagues across the business to ensure a consistent approach to customer service, adapting when necessary to dynamic changes within the Customer Contact Centre and eventually being recognised as a true expert in travel.

The International Cruise Representative is the direct point of contact for all sales and support enquiries and responsible for maximising revenue opportunities in every interaction by providing an exceptional level of service to German and International guests and travel agent partners. The International Cruise Representative has the ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and prioritise a varied and heavy workload to achieve required deadlines whilst maintaining a strong and consistent customer focus to deliver a positive customer journey.

About You

We’re looking for an International Cruise Representative with previous experience of working in a high-performing sales or customer service team - experience within the travel or cruise industry or in a contact centre environment will be a huge plus too. You’ll need to be fluent in German & English, both written and spoken, and a third language would be beneficial. And of course, you’ll show real passion and commitment, demonstrating resilience and ownership in everything you do.

What you'll need to be successful:

Essential:

• GCSE/O level English language and Mathematics or equivalent
• Expert fluency in German & English (both written and spoken)
• Previous experience in a customer facing role (Customer Contact Centre - inbound/outbound or Customer Service)

Desirable:

• NVQ Customer Service Level 2
• Recognised qualification in Travel & Tourism
• An additional modern European language
• Amadeus Connect experience
• Travel agency or tour operator background

This role is a full time, permanent position.

You’ll be based part time in our beautiful, welcoming office in the heart of Southampton (and you’ll get plenty of discounts with local businesses!) which is conveniently located close to transport links to Winchester, Portsmouth and Bournemouth. You will be working from home on the days you are not in the office, which offers great flexibility.
