What are you going to do:
The Role: The following will be carried out under the supervision and guidance of the UK Manager:
- Both organising and running the tours in and around Brighton’s ‘Lanes’ area.
- Photography
- Training and supervision of the guides working on the Brighton tours
- Sales and Marketing including social media management
- Maintaining B2B venue relations
- Invoicing and finances.
About you: The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be the ‘life of the party’, have a strong interest in small business management and want to gain experience on a part-time basis.
The below skills are desirable but not essential:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience in customer-facing roles in hospitality.
- A good understanding of design and design apps such as Canva, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Knowledge of photography, especially in events or nightlife settings.
- Previous experience with issuing and managing invoices.
- Foreign Language skills.
- Attention to detail, and an advanced ability to be able to problem-solve under pressure.
- This position is only suitable for applicants who are looking to stay in the role for at least a year, hopefully more. We are also hiring for less permanent roles as a guide with fewer responsibilities, please contact us directly if that is something that would interest you.
