UX/UI Designer Intern in London

What you will be doing: UX/UI Designer Interns at OWN-KIND play an integral part in our company’s product development process. You will play an essential role in creating a fashion tech platform that is of high value to businesses. Joining a start-up is a great opportunity to wear many different hats and the collaborative environment allows you to learn on-the-job skills.

20 - 40 hours per week
Between £50.00 and £100.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

A day-to-day responsibilities are:

  • Building apps/website prototypes
    (wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes)
  • Analyzing and building elegant solutions to complex workflows for the best possible UX
  • UX testing (internal and external)
  • Collaborating with the team, ensuring UX meets the requirements and expectations
  • Testing across all of our platforms
  • Preparing decks for demos and pitches
  • Creating graphic assets using Adobe
  • Designing layouts

Characteristics of an ideal candidate 

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
    (mainly Photoshop and InDesign - Adobe XD is a major plus)
  • Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively
  • Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability and attention to detail
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once
  • Self-driven (as the team is working remotely for the time being)
  • Available by mid January
