The Vaccine and Testing research team at UHBW are looking for enthusiastic and motivated nurses and clinical research practitioners to join the team!
The Vaccine and Testing research team will lead on supporting Principal Investigators in the setup and delivery of vaccine and testing research, including and prioritising COVID-19 research and other urgent public health studies. The research will be based at the Clinical Research Facility, a purpose built clinical research facility which offers the ability to conduct early and late phase studies.
We are recruiting Band 5 research nurses and clinical research practitioners who will support the research sister in the safe and effective delivery of these critical studies whilst also acting as a resource for staff, researchers, research participants and patients.
You must possess a keen interest in research, have excellent communication skills and be able to work well within a multi-disciplinary team. You will take a proactive approach in supporting clinical research studies including supporting the consent process, undertaking participant assessments and sampling procedures.
The role requires close working with colleagues across the trust and with all clinical divisions, therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
