Our ambitious multi-million pound plans to develop our sites are well underway, including developing RBH as the major acute and emergency hospital in East Dorset, PH as the major planned care hospital, and ambitious plans for Christchurch to support on-going patient treatment.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to work within Ward 14. Ward 14 is a mixed sex ward that specialises in medicine, dealing with complex and acute medical conditions. We adopt a rehabilitation approach working closely with our therapy teams which helps to promote and maintain mobility and independence for our patients.
Our aim is for our ward to be a centre of excellence and current initiatives include working towards our dignity pledge, Compassionate Care projects and developing our newly established frailty pathway. There is on-going investment to ensure our staff have the right skills, values and expertise to provide high quality specialist care for older people.
You will be expected to work with initiative and independence, assisting in the assessment of patients at the point of admission through to their discharge from the unit. You will be expected to act as a role model and support junior members of our team
This is a senior HCA band 3 post and offers exciting opportunity for clinical development and service improvement.
Fully flexible - Days, Nights, Weekends and Bank Holidays as required
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital
