Legal Research Assistant / PA - London based only
This role will suit a law graduate or LLM student who wants to fit work around their studies and gain experience in corporate law, tort law or human rights. The hours are flexible and 80% of the work will be done from home. My former assistants have pursed careers as barristers, solicitors and one is doing his PhD. You must be able to demonstrate academic performance at distinction level.
What are you going to do:
I require a legal research assistant to help me research and write up my PhD thesis. The thesis concerns the liability of multi-national corporations for human rights abuses taking elsehwere in the supply chain. You will also be required to carry out pa tasks, such as booking flights.
As a legal research assistant, you will be researching the latest legal developments, writing up case notes, summarising articles, and maintaining a database of references in the relevant area of law. My former assistants went on to do pupillages and Phd in law.
PA work will consist of booking trips, taking care of personal files, recruiting staff, communicating with estate agents etc.
