Hours: 37.5
Base: Lichfield – mix of blended base and remote working

The Social Work Learning Academy are looking for an experienced Business Support Assistant to join their busy business support team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an expanding team supporting our social care workforce to be best that they can be and playing a key part in the continuing expansion and development of the Social Work Learning Academy.
The Social Work Learning Academy is hosted within MPFT but is jointly run in partnership with Staffordshire County Council and is at the heart of the social care profession supporting the Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Workforce across North and South Staffordshire with staff learning and development and providing an overall governance of all adult social care practice across the Trust and the Local Authority. With the SWLA primary Hub in Lichfield and spoke sites at Leek Moorlands and Stafford we are looking to grow our team to support new and exciting future opportunities and run an Academy of excellence supporting the social care profession day to day.
You will require excellent communication skills and have considerable experience in managing a range of administrative functions with often competing demands and pressures. Good organisational and planning skills are crucial to this role as is the ability to juggle various tasks simultaneously to meet key deadlines. A keenness to understand the business and be innovative in assisting and being part of the SWLA’s future growth is essential.
