What are you going to do:
When working for the ACC Scheme, the main responsibility is to be a test purchaser. You will be asked to visit licensed premises. Gambling, and body modification establishments.
Premises, such as supermarkets, online and even pet shops; visiting these types of businesses where there should be procedures and rules for age restricted products, content and services. Supermarkets contain hundreds of age-restricted products, so policing the purchasers from tills and other checkout methods is vital to stop underage customers purchasing restricted products. Some restricted products from supermarkets include cigarettes, alcohol and lottery tickets, which you must be 18 years of age.
Online and e-commerce can be checked through the checkout point or at the point of delivery to the customer, both should be monitoring and implementing age verification systems to comply with rules and laws when purchasing online.
Other establishments which continually use ACC schemes and where you may need to attempt purchasing from include garden centres. You can purchase substances, tools and other sharp objects, these can put anyone in danger. Similarly, hardware and DIY stores have the same restrictions with tools.
