What are you going to do?
Your responsibilities depend on your position, which in turn depends on your experience and education. But let's start out with a typical Tesco checkout job. Your task in this role as a cashier is to make sure that the flow of customers through your checkout line goes smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be scanning items, issuing receipts, and giving advice where needed.
Your Tesco job doesn’t stop at the checkout counter, though. General day-to-day tasks might also include restocking items, ringing customers up, taking inventory, or clearing up around the store and warehouse.
