What are you going to do:
About this role: I am a 36-year-old male University of London graduate. I am physically disabled and recruiting a male personal assistant/carer (PAC) to join my team of PACs who support me with all aspects of my daily life and provide personal care for me both at home and at work. I’m looking for a friendly person, who is patient and engaging with me.
I live in Kilburn, London. I am a passionate disability rights activist and work for a disability and development charity in London which supports children with disabilities in Africa.
I am easy going and good humoured, and fun to work for! A typical workday can involve going to work with me, but it can also involve socialising with friends.
You will typically work four 24-hour shifts per month PACs have their own room in my shared house where they sleep during the night. Weekend shifts are needed, as well as occasional weekdays.
No experience is necessary as new PACs receive paid training before they begin to work on their own with me. New employees are trained by one of my team of PACs.

Essential requirements:
• Understanding the need for a person with a disability to maintain independence and participate fully in social and working life.
• Willingness to undertake personal care tasks.
• Good organisational skills and timekeeping.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A very good level of spoken and written English.
• Candidates should be physically fit.
• Being willing to assist to me on nights out and other social events.
• Commitment to the role for a minimum of one year.
