About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist joining our Vets4Pets team working with our first opinion surgeries you will be responsible for delivering all clinical talent and resourcing plans for the talent categories you own. You will be accountable for the full clinical vacancy picture, and working with the Practice Partners, Regional Director and People Partners, you will explore all resourcing and recruitment marketing options to fulfil current and future requirements, using both internal and external pipelines.

The role ensures talent conversations are continuously alive across the region and at site level, facilitating action plans and signposting to wider people specialists to encourage movement of internal talent within and across all regions. The role also focuses on external hiring, shaping and implementing robust resourcing plans.  Working in partnership with key stakeholders and hiring managers to proactively reduce the number of vacancies whilst improving quality of hire, at a low cost, within a direct resourcing model / framework, and aligned to our values and behaviours.

About your Experience

  • Extensive In-house resourcing experience, ideally within a large complex organisation
  • Multi-site volume recruitment experience
  • Proven experience of shaping or establishing an effective best practice recruitment and selection service.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a direct resourcing model.
  • Evidence of agency spend reduction
  • Creative, can do, solutions focused attitude.
  • Confident at working with a range of stakeholders, able to influence and engage others.
  • Talent Acquisition experience in a clinical setting would be advantageous (desirable)
  • Sourcing and headhunting experience preferably in a shortage occupation market (desirable)
