Activities Leader (£350) per week

Inlingua Cheltenham is looking for an activities' leader responsible for partaking and supervising all aspects of the social, sporting and recreational programme offered to General English students during Summer School.

30 - 35 hours per week
Between £300.00 and £350.00 Per Week

What are you going to do:

Ensuring that all excursions and activities are conducted in line with the school’s
Health and Safety policies.

Activities:

  • Afternoon activities:

These start at 1330 and run to about 1730 (the times are approximate and depend on the
activity). Typical activities include: painting, football, basketball, cricket, ten-pin bowling,
volleyball, cream tea, shopping, half day excursions, etc.

  • Evening activities:

These start between 1700 and 1830 and run to between 1900 and 2130 (an earlier start
usually means an earlier finish and vice versa.) Typical activities include: quiz night, pizza
night, ghost hunt, karaoke, film night, board game night and international food evening.
There is no evening activity on Fridays.

  • Saturday excursion:

These typically involve leaving the school at about 0900 and returning about 1730. Travel is
by coach and typical destinations are Oxford, Cardiff, London (longer day 8 - 8) and Bath.
A provisional programme of activities and excursions is attached.
It is required that the activities leader will be on the premises before the activities are due to
start for daily preparation, the amount of time will vary according to the planned activity.
