About you & the role:

Ensure the smooth day to day running of the reservations department

You will manage the reservations including individual bookings, Groups and M&E to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales.

Maximise all departments revenue opportunities

Attend weekly internal and strategy meetings

Review business plans, identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to meet set targets

Train and develop our reception team within all things reservations

Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market

Generate a culture of high standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts

In the absence of the DOS, conduct property show-rounds and engage positively with walk-in clients, securing information for future follow up by the DOS.

Organise hotel promotional activities

Assist DOS/RSM in any additional projects that may occur.

Lead by example and happiness Self management and a proactive nature required

The role is Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required for Duty Manager and evening shifts
