GX Hospitality is the group of restaurants founded and overseen by two Master Sommeliers, Gearoid Devaney and Xavier Rousset. The Group encompasses a number of locations in London, as well as Trade Hospitality App, a virtual member\u2019s club for hospitality professionals, which currently has 2500+ members.

We are now looking for a SALES & MARKETING MANAGER to oversee 4 restaurants (Comptoir Caf\u00E9 & Wine, Blandford Comptoir, Cabotte, BlackBook), as well as Trade App.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Operations/Group Management Level looking to move to a more admin-base role, who is tech-savvy and brings ideas to the table \u2013 the candidate will need to be creative and a self-starter, as the role reports to the Owners directly.

This is a Monday-Friday position, 9am-6pm (1h lunch break), fully on location (no remote working)

Key Job Requirements:

The Role includes 3 main areas of focus \u2013 Sales, Marketing and Events \u2013 which are all intertwined. This is a Department Head Position, will include managing and overseeing the Events/Reception Teams and well as liaise effectively with Restaurant Managers to ensure all aspects of the role (from strategy to planning to operations) run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Marketing strategies: develop plans for each site in line with their business objectives
  • Lead the planning, implementation and analysis of specific marketing deliverables to support business objectives
  • Data: manage customer databases, ensuring all are GDPR compliant. Drive database marketing to ensure highest standards and best practice is applied.
  • Regular engagement with booking platforms to ensure the restaurants are being promoted effectively
  • Social media management: create plans to increase engagement to drive bookings through the creation of organic content and paid social campaigns
  • Work with events managers to develop a strategy for increasing private parties and events revenues at each site, and to create year-round offers to drive footfall and bookings
  • PR: maintain regular contact with consumer and industry press, creating news stories to maximize PR opportunities
  • Manage each brand\u2019s online presence including websites, Google for Business, booking platform pages etc.
  • Establish partnerships with relevant third parties to increase awareness and bookings
  • Budgets and analysis:measurement of all marketing activities in terms of ROI (return of investment). Provide marketing results for monthly meetings.
