The Opportunity
Our next Registered Manager will have:
- Mandatory: Level 5 Diploma in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Experience as a Manager supporting Adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.
- The ability to support the management of a 24/7 operation.
- Experience in working within a framework of safeguarding.
- Excellent working knowledge of equality and diversity
- Excellent organisational skills, accurate record keeping with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- A proven track record of managing people and performance, including budgetary control and resource management.
- Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or willingness to work towards this
As Registered Manager you will:
- be responsible for two independent, CIW registered, Adult’s residential homes, Ty Ni Cymru and Llys Y Delyn.
- undertake management of the efficient operation, delivery and development of our residential service through an innovative and person-centred approach
- ensure that the regulation requirements are met through the Statement of Purpose and that statement meets organisation requirements and is implemented, evaluated and reviewed within the appropriate timescales.
- take full responsibility for the management of Ty Ni Cymru and Llys Y Delyn
- provide the highest quality of care and support to Service Users in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards met by the Regulatory Body.
The Location
Options Autism are recruiting a Registered Manager to join our teams based in North Wales.
Ty Ni Cymru provides high quality accommodation for adults with autism, complex needs and/or learning disabilities. Llys y Delyn offers integrated residential, education and care package for adults between 18 - 65 years, with a wide range of complex needs, including; autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, dyspraxia and ADHD. As well as impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment difficulties.
The homes are based in Holywell, Flintshire and in Rhaullt, Denbighshire (around 15 minutes apart) and are within commuting distance from Prestatyn, Holywell, Flint, Chester and surrounds.
