Role: Team Manager

Location: Hayling Island, Hampshire

Salary: £31,500.00 per annum

The opportunity

Our next Team Manager will be someone who has:

  • Mandatory: At least Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent.
  • Mandatory: At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.
  • Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs.
  • Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Children’s Residential Care.

Some of your duties will include

  • Directing the work of your team to provide the highest quality standard of care and professional practice in accordance with both school policies and procedures.
  • Providing a service that meets the requirements of all relevant legislation
  • Providing leadership to staff and pupils and directing the work of staff towards safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
  • Ensuring the highest physical standards are maintained around the home.
