Job Title:            SEN Teacher

Salary:                £28,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience

Location:            Kinsale School, Holywell, Flintshire

Hours:                 Monday to Friday

Contract:             Permanent, Term Time Only 

 

Are you a SEN Teacher committed to improving the lives of children and young people?

We are looking for a SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Kinsale School, Holywell. As SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.

This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a SEN Teacher in teaching a range of subjects and who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.

The successful candidate must be familiar with and happy to adopt a therapeutic approach to teaching and working with SEN/SEMH children.  Educated to degree level and Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

Kinsale is located in a stunning rural location, overlooking the Dee Estuary. Our school provides specialist education and care for up to 25 students, aged 8 – 19 having a range of complex needs including ASC and ADHD, in addition to impaired social or cognitive functioning due to early life trauma and attachment difficulties.
