Options Autism are currently hiring Residential Childcare Assistants in Dumfriesshire!

Role: Residential Childcare Assistant

Location: Closeburn/Lochmaben, Dumfriesshire

Salary: Up to £29,386.08 per annum (dependant on experience and qualifications, inclusive of 8 sleep-in payments per month)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours per week)

Some of your duties would be as follows

• Supporting the children to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Undertaking household tasks
• Engage our children and young people in tasks and activities

Options Autism are recruiting Residential Childcare Assistants to join our teams in Dumfriesshire.

Closeburn House is an eleven bed registered Children’s home, supporting Children and Young People from the ages of 10 – 16 years. Maben House is a ten bed registered Children’s home, supporting Children and Young People from the ages of 6 – 16 years.

Both homes are dedicated to build incredible futures by giving the Children and Young People opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. Working in a residential environment where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, individuals are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

The homes are based in Closeburn and Lochmaben and are within commutable distance of Dumfries, Lockerbie and surrounding towns and villages.
