Job Title: Teacher - Games Design and IT qualifications
Location: Syon Manor College, Isleworth, London
Salary: From £35,000 per annum
Hours: 38.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday
Contract: Permanent; Term Time
We are looking for a Games Design and IT qualifications Teacher to join our fantastic team at Syon Manor College, Isleworth, London.
About this role
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and outstanding teacher with a proven track record of high-quality teaching in Games Design and a range of other formal IT qualifications, specifically in Further Education and within Special Educational Needs.
Who we are looking for
The successful applicant will be able to teach from Entry 3 to Level 3 across a range of IT qualifications. It is also desirable for candidates to possess technical expertise in one or more coding languages and possess an understanding of formal accreditation expectations and deadlines.
You will have a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) or be working towards gaining this. You will keep up to date with current pedagogy and practice and have proven skills in motivating learners at all levels.
You will have strong pastoral and behaviour management skills which can be utilised with all our learners.

Syon Manor College is a new post-16 provision for young people with autism and complex needs. The college will offer a broad curriculum of academic, vocational and life skills learning including BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills and ASDAN accreditations which will work towards Employability or Independence and Duke of Edinburgh qualifications.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
