Lead Tutor - London

Get Further is seeking Lead Tutors to join our team and deliver bespoke maths and English GCSE tutoring resources to students, working with our wider Programmes team on key projects and activities.

15 - 37 hours per week
Between £21,500 and £23,500 Per Year

What are you going to do:

 

As a Lead Tutor, you will be provided with all the resources to deliver our programmes and build confidence and skills in maths and English for students in further education colleges or sixth forms. 

 

You will also benefit from training in a range of transferable skills to support you in your role as the vital link between students and the wider Programmes team. You will receive ongoing support and development opportunities to launch your career.  

 

Your primary responsibilities will be: 

  • Delivering high quality tutoring sessions using our bespoke English and/or maths resources in our partner colleges and sixth forms.   

  • Being proactive in developing and improving your tutoring skills and contributing to the overall development of the charity.   

  • Maintaining registers for your sessions to ensure attendance and student progress is recorded accurately and is up to date.    

  • Leading on student communication on behalf of the Programmes team, including being in regular contact with students via phone, text and email, to maximise student attendance and engagement. 

  • Other adhoc admin duties as required to support the internal Programmes and Operations teams.

Extra information

SALARY: £23,500 per annum, inclusive of £2,000 London weighting for London-based roles. Part-time salary is pro-rated depending on the number of data contracted.
