Job role: Games, Design and Coding Instructor
Location: Trent Acres – Brookfield Centre, Bridgtown, Cannock
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are looking for an experienced Games, Design and Coding Instructor to join our fantastic team at Trent Acres – Brookfield Centre, Cannock. As a Games, Design and Coding Instructor, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for a Games, Design and Coding Instructor who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

We are looking for a Games, Design and Coding Instructor, experienced in a range of subjects and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students. You will work closely with our Teachers, helping deliver our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Already experienced in an SEN/ASC environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every child to reach their potential.
Educated with Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.

Options Trent Acres is a newly opened service and situated on a 12 acre site offering an integrated residential, education and care package for children between 8 and 19 years with a wide range of complex needs, Autism and associated learning disabilities The school is purpose built, modern and welcoming with a range of specialist learning areas including an indoor and outdoor riding school and outdoor gymnasium. Children also have the opportunity to work with our horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca and chickens.
As part of your role you may be expected to work across both of our sites Trent Acres and Trent Acres - Brookfield Centre. This is an exciting time to join us as we are currently recruiting due to the expansion of our school, both sites are within close proximity of one another.
Our service is in within easy reach of Stoke, Derby, Telford, Stafford, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and surrounding towns.For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
