Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role
We are seeking to appoint a Secondary Cover Supervisor to cover teaching and learning across the school to improve consistency when teachers are on PPA, in school meetings or absent. You will be responsible for delivering teaching and learning during their absence. You will be skilled at engaging and motivating pupils who find learning a challenge in this all-age special school for pupils with behaviour and learning difficulties including SEMH, ASD.
About the Role
To provide cover for absent teachers and PPA time, carrying out the functions of the teacher in accordance with the stated aims and objectives of Heath Farm School and of the absent teacher’s department.
Secondary Cover Supervisors are expected to carry out the following duties to cover for short-term teacher and long-term teacher absence.
