Role: Adult Support Worker

Salary: Up to £15,562.48 per annum (inclusive of 4 sleep-in payments per month)

Hours: Permanent, Part Time (24.5 hours per week)

Location: Banham, Norfolk

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence

The Opportunity

Acorn Park Adults is an Adult Residential Home based in Banham. As a part of Options Autism (also a part of Outcomes First Group) we support Adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and complex needs in a residential setting

The home is based in Banham and is commutable distance from Norwich, Diss and surrounding towns and villages.

Who we are looking for:

Our next Adult Night Support Worker will be someone with the following qualities:

• Essential: A Full UK Driving Licence
• People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
• Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
• Be patient, resilient and calming
• Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
• Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Adult Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Adult Care Work (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)

Some of your duties would include:

• Creating fun and fulfilling days with residents to enjoy and explore their hobbies. 
• Supporting individuals to develop independent life skills
• Safeguarding of residents at all times
• Assisting and transporting residents to activities and hobbies 
• Accurate record keeping
