An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Clinical or Counselling psychologist to join an established inpatient multidisciplinary team in the centre of Hove. The Brighton and Hove Clinic is a specialist eating disorder unit for children and adolescents. It is a Tier 4 service supporting young people with severe and complex eating disorders that have not responded to community treatment approaches. The Brighton and Hove Clinic receive referrals from NHS CAMHS Tier 3 and Tier 4 Services.
The Brighton and Hove Clinic provides specialist multi-disciplinary assessment and treatment for children and adolescents (12- 18 years) with an eating disorder where behavioural, psychological, or emotional problems may have resulted in a severely restricted dietary intake. Our patients present with a variety of psychological difficulties including anorexia nervosa, depression, self-harm, and anxiety disorders.
