What you will be doing

Are you a highly experienced Senior Registered Staff nurse RNLD RMN or RGN looking to propel your career to the next level?  

To provide a high profile, visible clinical leadership to the Home Nursing team. To promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors. To ensure that standards of patient care are maintained at all times within the parameters of operational  policies and governing legislation

As a Clinical Lead, you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals.

You will be central to providing high quality care within the home setting.  The patient group consists of LD&A  with complex needs.

You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio.

Spring House is a 6 bedded home, looking after LD&A patients with complex needs.

No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine.

Key Outputs

  • Ensuring that the team core values and quality of care are at the forefront of patient centred care
  • Being a skilled communicator at all levels and working cohesively, professionally and effectively with staff, external agencies, visitors, carers and patients
  • Providing a nursing clinical leadership as part of the MDT for Spring House overseeing the management of clinical areas
  • Working within the Code of Conduct to ensure good standards of infection control, privacy and dignity, cleanliness and health and safety
  • Ensuring that action plans are implemented, monitored and evaluated for all parts of Spring House, maintaining compliance with identified standard requirements and effectively problem solving when necessary
  • Supervising and teaching qualified and unqualified staff including students and actively monitoring, supporting and directing others to do the same, promoting a learning and reflective culture

Qualifications

Essential

  • RMN/RNLD
  • Educated to degree level, or professional equivalent
  • At least 2 to 3 years’ post qualification experience

Desirable

  • Educated to higher degree level
  • Therapeutic Qualification
  • Recent teaching qualification or equivalent experience
