Role: Waking Night Adult Support Worker

The Location
Options Autism are recruiting Adult Support Workers to join our team at The Old Vicarage. They are an established home based in a residential area, with 8 bedrooms, a large garden, conservatory, patio, gym and quiet room. A homely environment where each individual is supported to work towards personal independence, gain life skills and live a fulfilling life.
Our residential homes provide high quality accommodation for adults with autism, complex needs and/or learning disabilities. This would be an ideal role for those interested in supporting adults with varied and complex needs.
The Opportunity
Although, experience is not required, we need people who fit the following criteria
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Become the “go to” person for help, support and guidance with their everyday needs
- Willingness to learn not only about the people we support, but the ins and outs of Adult Residential Care, by working towards a funded qualification in Adult Care Work (if you do not currently hold this or equivalent)
