Acorn Education & Care are hiring a Children’s Residential Deputy Manager in the Cornwall region!

Role: Deputy Manager

Salary: Up to £33,000.00 per annum (dependant on experience and qualification)

Hours: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, shifts as per rota)

Location: Illogan, Cornwall

Essential: A Full UK Driving Licence and the Right to Work in the UK

Our next Children’s Residential Deputy Manager will be someone who has: 

• Preferred: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
• Experience of working in a residential setting
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation such as Children’s Act and Quality Care Standards
• Experience of leading and motivating teams
• Ability to effectively train individuals and groups

Acorn Education & Care are recruiting a Children’s Residential Deputy Manager to join our Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) team in Illogan, Cornwall.

The Location

Portreath, our beautiful and homely residential setting, provides 24/7 care for up to four young people within the home. Each child has their own room which they decorate to their individual tastes and cater for their requirements. We are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children’s lives.

The homes are based in the South West region, and are within commutable distance from Cornwall, Truro, Illogan, Frome, Warminster, Bristol and surrounds.
