Acorn Education and Care are hiring Residential Childcare Workers in the Nottingham Region!

Role: Support Worker

Salary: Up to £26,320.00 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, varied shift patterns)

Location: Nottingham, East Midlands

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence required and access to own vehicle.

The Opportunity

Our next Residential Childcare Worker will be someone who has: 

• Full UK Driving Licence 
• A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
• Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would be as follows

• Supporting the young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Undertaking household tasks
• Engage our children and young people in tasks and activities

Our registered independent accommodation offers support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
