Are you a final year undergraduate, postgraduate student or a recent graduate in the UK? Are you passionate about being paid to advocate for justice and equal rights in Israel and Palestine? Then consider applying!
The Balfour Project Peace Advocacy Fellowship programme gives final year undergrad, postgrad or recent graduates the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the work of the Balfour Project by campaigning for peace through advocacy and educational activities.
The Balfour Project is a British charity that, through advocacy and education, work to advance equal rights for all Israelis and Palestinians and achieve greater public awareness of Britain's current and historic responsibilities in Israel and Palestine.
As an Intern, you will be expected to work on group projects and will be paid in return for this work. Intern Fellows are expected to spend a minimum of 12 hours a month over an eight month period (Oct-June) working on their projects. In addition, Fellows will also take part in our training programme led by experts on topics such as international law, history, psychology of conflict, public speaking, campaigning and event planning.
The position of Intern is suited to those who are passionate and/or knowledgeable and have experience in the issues of Israel/Palestine and have the time to commit to working on a project.
