Our next Team Manager will be someone who has:

  • Mandatory: At least Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or NVQ equivalent.
  • Mandatory: At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties will include

  • Directing the work of your team to provide the highest quality standard of support and professional practice in accordance with both school policies and procedures.
  • Providing a service that meets the requirements of all relevant legislation
  • Providing leadership to staff and pupils and directing the work of staff towards safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
  • Ensuring the highest physical standards are maintained around the accommodation.

The Opportunity

Outcomes First Group, are recruiting a Team Manager to join our team within the Oxfordshire Region.

Steps are a young persons accommodation that cares for 6 – 13 year olds, all of who have social and emotional issues due to early years trauma. It’s our aim to help these young people understand their emotions and provide them with a safe, nurturing environment that they can grow and flourish in. 

We do this by building positive relationships, challenging the difficult behaviours and providing activities and events that build self-esteem – from games nights in the house, to football in the garden, to caring for our chickens and goats to summer holidays in Newquay. 

The accommodation is based in Chipping Norton but is commutable from throughout the UK. As you will only need to travel to and from the site once every two weeks we have staff working here from as far afield as the North West and South East of England!
