Acorn Education & Care are currently hiring Senior Residential Childcare Workers in Cornwall!

Role: Senior Support Worker

Salary: Up to £28,593.60 (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, varied shift patterns)

Location: Illogan, Cornwall

Essential: FULL UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

The Opportunity

Our next Senior Residential Childcare Worker will be someone who has: 

  • FULL UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would be as follows

  • Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • Undertaking household tasks
  • Engage our young people in tasks and activities

Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Support Workers Workers to join our teams within the South West region. 

Our registered independent accommodation offer support for vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

The accommodation is based in the South West region, and are within commutable distance from Cornwall, Truro, Illogan, Frome, Warminster, Bristol and surrounds.
