Acorn Education and Care are currently hiring Support Workers in Shropshire!

Role: Therapeutic Support Worker

Salary: Up to £26,201.60 per annum (inclusive of 8 sleep ins payments per month)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, 1 on and 2 off)

Location: Ironbridge, Shropshire

Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required

 The Opportunity

Our next Therapeutic Support Worker will be someone who has: 

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would be as follows:

  • Supporting the young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • Undertaking household tasks
  • Engage our young people in tasks and activities

Acorn Education and Care, part of Outcomes First Group, are recruiting Therapeutic Support Workers to join our team in the Shropshire region.

Sunnycroft is an accommodation with a capacity of 4. We support Young People from the ages of 6-18 build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests. 

The accommodation is based in Shropshire and is within commuting distance from Telford, Shrewsbury and surrounding towns and villages.
