More about your role 

Procurement Hub is leading the way in supporting the public sector on all things procurement related. We're on a mission to elevate procurement across the sector by making things simpler and more transparent. We're proud to be part of Places for People. 

You will be responsible for maintaining current relationships and securing new client accounts through various methods of business development for Procurement Hub. 

You will generate and nurture a pipeline of sales opportunities to support personal and business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in growing Procurement Hub and defining its value proposition to clients. 

 

More about you 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional based in the North East to join our team as a Client Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth through effective solution promotion. The primary responsibility will be to identify and engage with potential public sector clients, build and maintain strong relationships, and help them navigate the complexities of procurement. 

We are looking for an individual with in-depth knowledge of the public sector and it would be advantageous if you had knowledge of public sector procurement. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Prospect and Build Relationships: Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers within the wider public sector. 
  1. Procurement Processes: Learn and demonstrate knowledge of procurement procedures and be able to guide potential clients through the procurement process 
  1. Presentations: Create and deliver compelling solution orientated presentations that effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential clients. 
  1. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, government policies, and competitive offerings to inform your sales strategies. 
  1. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports on progress and opportunities.

This role will be either agile or based from one of our offices dependent upon your home location, whilst there is flexibility of working from home alongside office-based working to facilitate collaboration with the wider team. This will be discussed at the interview stage.  Please note there is a requirement to travel for local and nationwide meetings.
