More about your role

As part of our Financial Inclusion Team, you will play a key role in supporting our most vulnerable customers by providing comprehensive welfare benefits advice with a focus upon sustaining tenancies and preventing homelessness. Working in a holistic manner your role will be to support our customers to maximise their income and to access both internal and external support appropriate for their needs. 

The role is full time 36.25 hours per week.

More about you 

We are looking for applications from people with experience of working with vulnerable individuals in complex situations. 

You will have a good understanding of welfare benefits, current social housing and wider welfare issues as well as an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislations & welfare reform. 

The ideal applicant will have great communication skills which will allow you to build supportive relationship with both customers and colleagues. 

Due to the nature of this role applicants will need a full driving license and access to a car.
