Finance Administrator in Preston

24 - 40 hours per week

More about your role 

If you like variety in your work as well as being part of a busy team, then this could be the perfect role for you.  This role will require sharing your time weekly between home and the office based in Preston (Group Support Services) and we operate on a hybrid working model. We promote a flexible work life balance

Please note that this is a fixed term role for 6 months, however there is a possibility that this could be extended / become permanent if the service needs change

Your day-to-day duties will be to provide administrative support dealing with both internal and external queries and processing purchase requisitions and invoices for payment.

You will get the opportunity to grow and develop your administrative skills as you will also get exposure to finance related tasks such as preparing monthly finance journals; bank reconciliations and running key reports. There will be a requirement to work closely with our internal finance team members in other business areas, such as Accounts Payable, Capital Accounts, Tax and Treasury

More about you 

Ideally you will understand some basic accounting processes. You should be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft office. Excel skills are essential with the ability to demonstrate effective use of excel.

Customer service and delivery is at the heart of what we do therefore you should have excellent communication skills and an appreciation of the need to continuously improve the services we provide.

An outlook to learn and develop, support others within the team and have a keen interest to work within a finance function
