Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Lead- Implementation and Strategy in Preston

What your role will be

To support the Head of Financial Transactions in driving improvements in current processes and procedures, as well as delivering new system implementations. Additionally, providing support to deliver a comprehensive Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Service across all group companies, reporting and providing advice and financial direction on all Income and payment matters.

 

Your background

You will have a proven track record of leading a high performing team and will be able to demonstrate how you effectively manage multiple priorities.  Due to the nature of the role you will consider yourself someone that is strong working with different systems and you will have a sound understanding of finance/accounting procedures, preferably studying towards a recognised accounting qualification, or already qualified.

You will have strong communication skills and be able to evidence what tools you employ to ensure that you have good working relationships with other teams and individuals that you engage with.

For this role there will be a requirement to come into the office two days per week and the rest is working from home.

Please note for this role the earliest start date would be the 2nd of January 2024

For remote roles:  

This role will be either agile or based from one of our offices dependent upon your home location, whilst there is flexibility of working from home alongside office based working to facilitate collaboration with the wider team. This will be discussed at the interview stage.  Please note there will be some requirement to travel for nationwide meetings.
