Acorn Education are hiring Residential Childcare Practitioners in the Shropshire Region.

Role: Residential Childcare Practitioner

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Salary: £23,920.00 per annum (plus potential sleep ins)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week - 2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern)

The Opportunity

Our next Children's Care Worker will be someone who has: 

• A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.

Some of your duties would be as follows

• Supporting the young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Undertaking household tasks
• Engage our young people in tasks and activities

Calcott Farm is an accommodation with a capacity of 4. We support Young People to build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests. 

The accommodation is based in the Shrewsbury area, and are within commutable distance from Nantwich, Whitchurch, Telford, Shifnal and surrounds
