two oracle EPM based developer contract roles

for a large reputable banking organisation based in the UK. Rate:

Market Rate (Inside ir35) Location:

UK Based Contract Length : 6 months (Chance of extensions) You will be responsible for understanding the business requirements and designs for solutions in the Oracle EPM space. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong development skills in Oracle EPM EPBCS/PBCS/EPCM/Data Exchange and data integration technologies involving Oracle EPM.

The role requires expert technical knowledge and strong appreciation of best practice development. The ideal candidate will be able to bring experience from previous lead position(s), with direct experience of end-to-end implementation, application development. The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient and pro-active in leading their work and provides a platform for best-practice processes for junior team members.

Role 1 Key accountabilities: Managing projects from a functional perspective, overviewing end to end technical deliveries, developing planning solutions and documentation of Planning & Forecasting solution(s) in Hyperion & Oracle EPM Cloud. Accountable for design documentation, knowledge sharing and transition to Operations teams/RTB teams. Recommend robust change management process to ensure effective management and delivery of new changes and enhancements. Regular status updates to business and technical stakeholders. Liaising and working closely with the peers within and outside of the team, keeping stakeholders updated on progress against milestones. Highlight and managing risks and issues via effective controls and standard processes. Enhance and improve the application development capability within the team, via automation and innovation. Building POCs & demonstrate the same to the business.

Role 2 Key accountabilities: Sitting in requirement gathering sessions with senior finance colleagues to be able to understand their processes and creating process flows and data flows that document their business process and explores equivalent Oracle EPM designs. Delivering performance optimisations for some of the largest Oracle EPM systems in the world with hierarchy members running into more than 250,000 and data running into hundreds of GBs.
