DBA - Ingres in Leeds

DBA (Ingres) 6 month contract - Start Feb 2024 Leeds office - Hybrid working pattern - Flexibility £450 a day - Inside of IR35 We are looking for an experienced DBA (with knowledge of Ingres) for a 6 month contract - With the office being based in Leeds - Ideally you'll be in a commutable distance. Your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the current Ingres DBA - to help with the knowledge transfer across the multiple teams. You'll be reviewing the documented processes and activities undertaken by the current team, identifying and capturing any gaps. Train member(s) of the DBA team in the documented processes and activities. Deliver the agreed documented processes and activities. Your day to day activities will look like this: Running daily checks to ensure the database is up and running. Applying patches / running upgrades to the database as required. Undertaking any DBA activities required on the system in support of Year End processing that is undertaken between February and end March. Run database copies. Trouble shoot / root cause analysis of any issues that arise with the database. Please apply with your latest CV for immediate review.
