IBM i Technician

(Mimix) Chester (Onsite 3 days a week) £65,000 - £70,000

+ 25 Days Holiday

Are you an IBM i Systems Engineer that wants to join a growing and dynamic team of IT specialists looking to support their client base with data recovery?

On offer is an autonomous role, as the IBM i Systems Engineer in a team of 5 you will have the chance to grow, develop, and shape the division contributing significantly to the direction of the company.

The business are investing heavily into the department which means that there is an opportunity for real career and technical progression. This role would suit an IT professional with significant IBM i / Mimix experience for storage migration and recovery, local to Chester.

The Role: - Perform recoveries and migrations with IBM i / Mimix systems. - Liaise with clients and customers - Perform operating systems upgrades

The Person: - IBM i / Mimix experience - Wide knowledge of common problems / solutions for IBM i storage
