Taking up a new position within our central services, we are seeking a driven Performance Media Manager to join us as a key driver within our Performance Media Team, supporting the growth of

the Forge Holiday Group, specifically Forest Holidays.

We are a team filled with a natural curiosity and a commitment to driving positive outcomes whilst stewarding one of the largest cost bases in the business making this an exciting opportunity for our newest Manager to join us in taking accountability and ownership for our paid booking targets and conversions specifically across Forest Holidays marketing.

We are looking for an established, driven Manager to ensure our booking generation and paid media marketing remains innovative and creative, as well as ensuring our targets are hit to a cost per booking basis, remaining conscious of seasonality, demand and the wider marketing mix.

Showcasing your experience in operational paid media, this position will have a strong focus on testing and learning with innovation at the forefront of our paid media strategy as well as covering ownership of Forest Holidays paid media activity. Reporting into Head of Performance Media, our newest PPC Manager (Forge Holiday Group) you will be responsible for the following areas of accountability: PPC Budgets in excess of 2 million pounds' pa Overall booking generation Account optimisation and strategy Being part of a continuous experimentation workflow Management of activity across Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, Criteo and other platforms Leadership Identify, share and spread best practice throughout the business and demonstrate excellent team work Communicate effectively and influence key stakeholders across the business, both internal and externally such as suppliers, HOD's, Directors etc. Demonstrate high level of confidence and ability in managing and resolving conflict Embrace and drive innovation with the ability to think outside the box Consistently demonstrate passion for the business and the role Show confidence and conviction with decision making taking full responsibility for your actions and outcomes. First and foremost we are interested in those who have the potential to hold these values, as for this position, we ask you to have the following key skills: Minimum of 5 years' experience in an operational paid media/PPC role that must include Google Ads, Bing, Display, Facebook and Instagram Experience of managing budgets in excess of c£5 million pounds+ p/a Significant understanding of PPC bid management platforms or in-house tools Relevant degree in marketing, maths, IT, field High level of mathematical ability Meticulous approach to organisation Previous experience of dealing with senior stakeholders High level of competency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to change Must be innovative with a test and learn mentality Proven ability to mentor and train more junior members of the team Although standouts will also have: Preferably agency and in-house experience Experience of managing a team of PPC specialists Additional Paid Media channel experience including LinkedIn and Pinterest would be advantageous Experience of the travel/tourism sector Understanding of the wider marketing mix The ability to input on marketing strategy with an understanding of the impact on the wider business Knowledge of agile and sprint planning Understanding of both SQL and JavaScript
