Meter Data Manager
Location – Remote 3 days a week / Office based 2 days (must be local to Leeds)
Hours – Mon to Thurs – 08:30 -17:00 and Fri 08:30-16:30
Salary -£40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
Contract – Permanent.

Purpose of the job:
The Meter Data Management Team Manager will lead and inspire a team of Meter Data Management Administrators to ensure our Metering Data processes are managed efficiently, providing our customers with an excellent service and our 3rd parties with confidence on our data. They will ensure they are managing a high performing team and work towards improving both employee performance and career development, whilst also maintaining the teams KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and looking for further improvements.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsibilities will include:
Ensure the Change of Agents process for both gas and electricity is completed in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring we have the right agents appointed to reduce impact on settlement
Seek to minimise unnecessary costs associated with the Unattached Meter process, with particular focus on ensuring where a meter is not going to be installed we are withdrawing from supply in a timely manner to reduce transportation costs
Management of the Correction Factor Change Process ensuring we are abiding by Industry SLAs (Service Level Agreement) in line with Performance Assurance
Ensure all other related Metering Data processes, are operated in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with business and industry practices, including Address Changes, Crossed Meters, MPRN Creations etc
Managing the day-to-day planning and productivity of the team, ensuring priorities are captured and the team made aware
Maintain the teams KPIs and be able to provide management with information on these when required, ensuring you are aware and understand the figures you are presenting
Provide ongoing guidance and support to the team, fostering career development and supporting them with opportunities
Encourage a sense of ownership and accountability among staff with a ‘right first time' mentality
Conduct regular skill assessments amongst the team to identify areas that will benefit from cross training and allow growth for individuals
Collaborate with employees to create their Personal Development Plans, so you can address their career goals and any skills gaps preventing them from achieving these goals
Manage the recruitment process for your team where required, conducting interviews alongside other managers
Ensure accuracy amongst attendance records, using internal systems to track these to enable correct resource management
Collaborate with the team to create objectives for the year ahead and action plans to achieve the objectives set out
